Concert Time
It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas
This morning we woke to a blizzard. Morgan was supposed to sing with the choir at both church services today. Churches all over the area were canceled. This storm is huge and reaches across the entire eastern half of North Dakota as well. I think the whole town of Fargo has closed down for the day!
This is how Morgan is spending her morning off from church & confirmation class. (Snuggled in her bed watching Christmas DVDs!) She is finally getting over being sick so the extra rest is a good thing for her. She has been very busy with basketball the past few weeks.

Catching Up - A Busy November
Morgan finished JH Volleyball and is now playing basketball. Here is a shot during warm ups - I have mostly been video taping her games so I do not have many photos to post. She is having a good season. December 15th is her last game. This next week she has 5 away games in 7 days. (Well, Saturday is a tournament - I am not sure how many games they will play.) Yikes!!

Our days of football are coming to an end here. These are the VCSU seniors at their last home game. (Jordan is #4)

Jordan & a couple great teammates/friends - it was hard for all of us to leave the stadium after that final game.
The following weekend Paul, Morgan, Emily & I went to watch Taylor in the Eden Prairie High School production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" - It was terrific! I would have loved to gone back another time to see it again. (I had hoped to post a photo, but they are on Morgan's camera - maybe I can still get one from her later.) We spent the night and did a little shopping in Albertville on our way back on Sunday.
Allie & Kara stopped by on their way to North Dakota last week. It was fun having our "Little Al" here for even a short while. They had a great time with family in Souris & Minot and then stopped by again last night to stay with us again on their way back to Rochester.
This fun little guy spent the day with us yesterday while his mommy did a little shopping. Morgan took about 120 photos of him during the afternoon. He didn't mind the fuss at all - see the "peace sign" he gave us? He was cool with it all!!
Nothing like mowing and cleaning up the leaves in your yard on November 28th!! Like Paul told the neighbor, "better late than never"!
Even Ty got in on the fun. He wasn't so sure what to do with the cookie cutter, but liked to feel the ball of dough.
Timmy showed Allie how to make a perfect slice of toast in the cool little toaster.
Allie & Kara left for home this morning. Allie was eager to get home to see her Daddy and her puppy.
Idle Threats?
I won't say who sent such a threat - but maybe
the "Goodwill" sticker on the bottom of the elf will tip off some of you!!
I will update later today!

Unacceptable Behavior
Weekend at the Farm
Captains out for the coin toss
Discussing a play with the coach
Offense resting - they had a big game (423 yards on offense)
Making a catch
Waiting for the pass (I don't think this pass came their way)
It was a high scoring game....unfortunately we ended up losing by 9 points at the end. 44-35
Morgan was able to spend Saturday night in Westhope hanging out with friends. After church on Sunday we had a yummy chicken dinner at Grandpa & Grandma's house and Morgan was able to go horseback riding with Kara's Mom (Lori) for a couple hours before we had to head back to Fergus. It was a good weekend.
