Grandma Pat left a bag of assorted apples here when she left. Morgan made this delicious pie tonight with a couple different varieties of apple.
It looked & tasted wonderful!
(We each had a warm piece with vanilla ice cream on top.)
We are sorry that she didn't make it for Grandpa Denny while he was here. She will have to make him pie when he comes back from Florida in March!

WOW--I am impressed with Morgan--A.K.A. Martha's--cullinary skills! The pie looked DELICIOUS! Almost good enough to eat! As for Grandpa Denny... Don't feel too bad for him, Andrew's basketball tournament was in Osseo this weekend, home of the Norske Nook. I saw Grandpa take advantage of the original Norske Nook pies that were for sale in the consession stand a few times--although I am sure Morgan's fresh, hot apple pie would have been much tastier!
I'm glad that you were able to use the apples. Was this Morgan's first pie? It does look good.
