50th Wedding Anniversary

We celebrated Paul's parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary

in Bottineau on December 29th. We had over 100 people

attend the Open House in the afternoon.

They were married 50 years ago to the day.

The cake was a replica of their actual wedding cake.

(It was a bit taller than the original - and less tasty (this

was decorated styrofoam!)

These were Ruth's wedding shoes. We also displayed

her wedding dress.

We served a meal to the family after the Open House at

the church. This was a chance for more visiting time.
