I must have gotten my first camera for Christmas 1972. These pictures were taken in the summer of 1973. (Or at least they were developed then!)
(I am certain that Shana is sitting on Sheila's unmade bed. I, of course, would never have left my bed unmade into the afternoon!)

Thank you for sharing this wonderful picture to the entire world! I have seen all the Facebook comments and I agree with Shana about having the picture taken with a couple of democrats. Happy Birthday to Shana on the 9th!
By the way, your Mom looks pretty good in this picture - well compared to now anyway.

Shana was so cute even if the bed is unmade and I recognize that pillow case as one I still have in the stock pile!
