This winter our neighbors put a feather mattress on the deck for their dog. The dog had a grand time shaking the mattress and dragging it all over the backyard. We knew that it wasn't going to be pretty next door once the snow melted.
One day I came home and there were feathers floating over the house tops in our neighborhood. Our front yard (and back yard) have a lot of white feathers floating around.
It is nothing compared to the yard next door!

How long will the 'snow' remain? Do they have an outdoor vac?
These neighbors never got around to raking their yard. (I bagged their front yard with my mower before it snowed because I didn't want the leaves blowing into my yard.) It will be interesting to see how/when they clean it up.

Well, in the heat of summer, you can gaze across the fence and imagine a cool, snowy day. Of course, the feathers will probably be all dirty and covered in doggie doo by then...
